TODDLER STORYTIME

Welcome back to storytime everyone! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces this morning, despite the snow coming down!  While it snowed outside, we read books about animals that live in the snow.

OPENING SONG: Mister Sun

OPENING RHYMES:

With little ones, you can march your fingers up and down your child’s arm, or you can bounce them on your knees.

BOOK 1: Good Morning, Little Polar Bear by Carol Votaw

One went for a swim, And then there were four. (swimming motions)

Four perky penguins, Looked out to sea (look around)
One went swimming, And then there were three. (swimming motions)

Three perky penguins said, “What can we do?” (shrug shoulders)
One jumped in the water, And then there were two.

Two perky penguins, Sat in the sun.

He dived in the water, And then there were none.
